April Program: Culture + Typography

  • DoubleTree Downtown 505 N 5th St Rapid City, SD 57709 United States (map)

Join AAF Black Hills and Nikki Villagomez for a look into how culture affects typography and the decision-making process in everyday life. In this presentation, Nikki will use typographic images taken throughout her travels alongside photos from Rapid City (manhole covers, neon signs, ghost signs, hand lettering, historic signs, etc.) in a side-by-side exploration that discusses the comparisons (and contrasts) in type choices.
