A Look at Travel South Dakota’s New Direction and New Campaign
In 2022, Travel South Dakota entered a mandatory RFP process and came out with new agencies, a new direction, and a new nationally award-winning campaign. At this AAF Black Hills Program, Chief Marketing and Creative Officer Mike Gussiaas will share how the department works to market the state both nationally and internationally, including the research and discovery processes that led to the development of their current “So Much South Dakota, So Little Time” campaign that recently was honored by US Travel Association as the Best Integrated Marketing and Messaging Campaign in the country.
