October Luncheon

Date: 10/20/2009 Time: 11:30am Location: The Hampton Inn
Speaker: Hugh Weber, CEO of Deep Bench
Hugh Weber
Over 4,000 people applied to test drive the Ford Fiesta on the American road long before its launch here. But only 100 were chosen to be the Agents of the Fiesta Movement, and Hugh Weber, CEO of Deep Bench in Sioux Falls, was one those agents.
In what Ford calls “the ultimate foreign exchange program,” Hugh and his fellow agents are spending six months behind the wheel of their own Fiesta, sharing their experiences with the world via Twitter and other social media tools, and completing monthly missions to show potential customers “what experiencing the Ford Fiesta is all about” before the official launch of the car in 2010.
In this presentation, Hugh will discuss how he became a part of Ford’s innovative marketing experiment, his experience as an “agent” in the “movement” and how other companies can do the same kind of customer outreach on a smaller budget. See the site that is tracking the Fiesta Movement includeing other agents and missions at www.fiestamovement.com.
This program is free for AAF-Black Hills members, $30 for non-members, $20 for each additional AAF-Black Hills Corporate Member, and $20 for students.
