Speaker: Lori Kobashigawa with Las Vegas Sands Corporation
Lori Kobashigawa
On February 8th, a little bit of Las Vegas comes to Rapid City.
Lori Kobashigawa is the Director of Internet Marketing at Las Vegas Sands Corporation, the world’s largest casino firm and owner of well-known casino resorts such as The Venetian and The Palazzo in Las Vegas, the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas and several casinos in the developing Cotai Strip in Macao, China. Lori oversees the company’s Internet strategy. She’ll be speaking about strategies that the gaming industry can use to help weather the economic downturn, and also how to keep your job if you work in the casino industry. “It’s been a brutal year for Las Vegas,” Lori said. “I’ve put together a survival guide, because there are a lot of gaming execs who aren’t going to survive the times.”
Few companies in the world are more familiar with the confluence of entertainment, gaming and the bruising recession than Las Vegas Sands. Come pick their brain — you just may learn what you need to survive the times.
