Michael Mallace is the General Manager of privately-held and locally-owned Sierra H Broadcasting in Phoenix, Arizona, home of KAJM-FM (“Arizona’s Old School Station”) and KNRJ-FM (“The Valley’s Classic Hip-Hop). He’s been in the radio business since he was 14 years old, and for the last 25 years has held Sales Manager and General Manager positions at various radio stations of every imaginable genre. Michael’s long and varied experience in the broadcasting business gives him a unique perspective on radio’s current difficulties brought on by new competition such as the Internet and the Ipod, as well as those of the weak overall economy.

In this program, Michael addresses the stiffest challenges facing radio stations today and details his vision for how the industry can best overcome them.

This program is free for AAF-Black Hills members, $30 for non-members, $20 for each additional AAF-Black Hills Corporate Member, and $20 for students.
